What exactly is the role of a Chiller?
Our Chillers give seated, clothed 5 – 15 minute massages in, offices as well as at promotions, events and corporate functions. Our “Chill” incorporates Indian Head Massage techniques and all Chillers are trained and certified through our affiliation with The Institute of Indian Head Massage.

What do Chillers wear when they work?
The basic uniform consists of a black t-shirt with our logo on the front and back. Full-length black pants, a black kit bag, and flat black closed toed shoes.
What sort of hours do the Chillers work?
What sort of hours do the Chillers work?
The number of hours a Chiller works is varied, depending on their length of service, experience, and availability. Most Chillers work during office hours, Monday to Friday. There are no guaranteed minimum hours offered upon joining.
What is the training process?
If you are successful in your interview, you will be asked to attend our training course. This course has been carefully structured and is accredited by the Institute of Indian Head Massage.
Initially you will attend two 3 ½ hour classroom training sessions at our head office in London. Training begins at 6.30 pm and finishes at approximately 10pm.
Following the successful completion of the classroom training you will begin working as a trainee Chiller until sitting your exam. The exam is taken within the first month of joining UrbanChill and incorporates a written and practical assessment. Subject to passing the exam you will be issued with a Certificate in On-Site Indian Head Massage.
Are there any costs involved?
Yes. A training fee of £25 (covers all training and certification) and a £25 bond for the uniform is payable in the second week of training.
